Standard Chartered brings RLUSD into regulated banking
Standard Chartered launched custody services for XRPL-issued RLUSD through its regulated Dubai International Financial Centre branch on October 12. Institutions can now hold the stablecoin through an established international bank, addressing custody, compliance and operational requirements that often prevent larger financial firms from directly managing digital assets. This is confirmed institutional adoption of RLUSD custody infrastructure, not evidence that Standard Chartered is purchasing XRP for its balance sheet.
